At an orange blossom-scented Sebring, darkness has fallen at the starting order has been set for the World Endurance Championship. Toyota will start on overall pole, while Porsche claimed both GTE pole positions.
The final free practice session for the World Endurance Championship has come to a close in Sebring, with Ford running fastest in GTE Pro, and Toyota fastest in LMP1. Jackie Chan DC Racing came out on top again in LMP2, while Dempsey-Proton racing put on a good show in GTE Am.
Free practice two kicked off as Sebring descended into darkness. Top of the timesheets again was Toyota in LMP1, with Jackie Chan DC Racing fastest in LMP2, Aston Martin in GTE Pro and Gulf Racing in GTE Am.
Super Sebring kicked off in earnest today as the World Endurance Championship returned to the Bumps for the first time since 2012. Toyota and Aston Martin drew first blood in free practice.
United Autosports walked away from Spa Francorchamps with a win in both LMP2 and LMP3, while rivals G-Drive scraped enough points to seal the LMP2 championship. Ebimotors score their first win.
It's another 1-2 finish for Toyota as the #8 car wins the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Silverstone. Jackie Chan DC Racing took 1st and 2nd in LMP2, AF Corse won GTE Pro and Dempsey Proton Competition took the win in GTE Am.
